2011 Kenyan National trials end at Nyayo

The dynamism of Kenya's athletics scene was witnessed at the Nyayo national stadium as the favorites played second fiddle in the 1500m and 5,000m events. Isaiah Kiplagat beat a field of experienced athletes to win the men's 5,000m while Olympic champions' Asbel Kiprop and Nancy Jebet Langat lost the 1500m national titles.
