One year ago, Ryan Hall withdrew from the 2010 Chicago Marathon after a bad stint in training. Soon after Hall announced that he would leave coach Terrence Mahon and the Mammoth Track Club to training on his own. In the months following he went on to run the fastest American marathon ever in Boston. Ryan recalls this time a year ago and what it was like to pull out of the Chicago Marathon.
