Eyes on Houston - Magdalena Lewy-Boulet

Four years ago, Magdalena Lewy-Boulet was unsponsored and paid her own way to the Olympic Trials Marathon in Boston. She was an assistant coach at her alma mater UC Berkeley, and her previous Trials race was a near-miss 5th place in 2004. In 2008, she placed second to Deena Kastor, and her career seemed to take off at that point. Now a full-time runner, Magda is one of the favorites for the London team.
