LaShawn Merritt answers questions about past ban from the sport in 2010 -2011

For the first time on video LaShawn Merritt answers questions about his ban from track and field which he served throughout the 2010 and first half of the 2011 season. The ban came after the two best years of his career where in 2008 he became the Olympic 400 meter champion and in 2009 when he followed it up with the World Championship gold medal. Merritt returned to the sport in late 2011 and he didn't waste any time as he ran a world leading time and took the silver medal at the 2011 World Championships in Daegu. He is now on the road to defend his Olympic Gold Medal!
