Zane Robertson, Kiwi in US with new PBs

null

Zane Robertson is one of the Kiwi brothers who at age 17 moved to Kenya to train full-time to chase the dream of becoming the best runner he could be. Zane, now 22 years old, has also spent time in Ethiopia to train and is now in the United States for the first time in his life. This interview came right after the Mt. SAC Relays after Zane ran a 3 second personal best in the 1500m (3:38) en route to a 3:56 in the Puma Mile. A week later Zane dropped the time again running only one second off the Olympic A standard of 3:35.50 (race 3:36.53). Zane talks about his experiences in Africa and what his goals are while he is in the US.
