Danielle Carruthers, silver medalist at the 2011 World Championships in the 100 meter hurdles, reflects back on her running progression and breakthrough in 2011. Along with the medal Carruthers ran 12.47 which ranks #8 all-time in the US and also makes her the fastest American hurdler since 2008. Danielle is very open on the ups and downs of track & field while talking about going through the process, relearning the hurdles, becoming a better person and above all, running with patience.
