German Fernandez Qualifies for the 1500 Final 2012 NCAA Outdoor Champs

With tactics that have been unseen with German Fernandez for sometime, the Oklahoma State senior qualifies for the NCAA 1500 final. Fernandez took the lead from the gun and led until the last 150 meters to run 3:40, one second off his PR, to lead his first NCAA Championship race since his freshman year outdoor campaign where he won the NCAA 1500m title. Fernandez doubts his finishing speed at the moment, but we have seen him improve with ever race this season. The road has been bumpy for German but it's hard to not think that everyone would love to see something special happen for this guy come Saturday.
