Kyle Merber American collegiate record holder does not advance to 1500 final at 2012 NCAA D1 Outdoor Champs

Kyle Merber set the American Collegiate Record a few weeks ago running 3:35.59 at a quiet meet in Philadelphia after experiencing a year of injury. Although on the surface many would have thought the year must be going unbelievable for the Columbia senior, Merber says it was been far from that. Merber has not had the smoothest road during his comeback years with ups and downs from small struggles in training and in the NCAA semi it showed. Merber missed making the 1500 meter final after many thought he was a lock. Merber talks about the experiences this year and takes a positive mindset away from the disappointment as he is healthy and moving in the right direction.
