Its been almost two full years since just Gatlin returned back to the sport after a four year doping ban and it has been a successful one. In his first full year back Gatlin represented the US at the 2011 World Championships in the 100 meters where he made it to the semifinals. This past indoor season Gatlin earned gold at the 2012 World Indoor Championships in the 60 meter dash. Gatlin heads in this week's US Olympic Trials as the fastest sprint in American and #4 in the world (#8 world ranked in the 200 also). Justin Gatlin gives a very open interview about his journey back to the sport and also what life was like while he was training during his ban. He gives some great answers about how life revolved around track & field before his ban and how he found that he never gave himself time to grow as a man. The time away gave Justin a chance to find life in its entirety, not only as an athlete.
