The UC-Santa Barbara Gaucho, Ryan Martin, has had a spectacular year, and capped it off with a 4th place finish in the 800m final. Running in conference rival and 800m phenom Charles Jock most of the year, Martin put it together to come out on top today. Although he missed the Olympic team by .25 seconds, his spirits are high. He's one to watch out for in the coming years.
