Erik Kynard Parade

Homecoming parade for Olympic high jump silver medalist Erik Kynard at Rogers High School, Toledo, Ohio, August 18th. Organized by Toledo Public Schools, the crowd was estimated at over 1,000 fans, and a high jump bar was set at the medal-winning height of 7' 7.75" (2.33m). Erik received the key to the city from Toledo mayor Michael Bell and a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol from Rep. Marcy Kaptur.
