Mary Cain breaks high school national indoor mile record 4:32.78 at 2013 NB Games

Mary Cain runs 4:32.78 to break the high school national indoor mile record by nearly six seconds at the 2013 New Balance Games. The mark bettered Debbie Heald's 41 year old record of 4:38.5 set in 1972. Cain also broke the national high school indoor 1500 meter record as she split 4:16.11 en route to her mile time.
