"I believe I'm one of the best in the country"

"I'm calm and confident, I believe in myself." "I firmly believe I'm one of the best in the country and I'm here to prove that." This all comes from a guy who didn't even make the final at the USA Championships. Why might he say that? Maybe because he just ran a PR of 3:34.00 in Belgium and led a clan of Americans to some killer times. Sure, it was a big PR for J Mac, but he knew that was coming. He's been feeling great recently, it was just a matter of making up his mind and getting the job done. The best part is, he says there is more to come.
