He's know he's capable of much more. After his 13:15.50 personal best from Payton Jordan, Oregon Track Club's Hassan Mead came into USAs as a dark horse to make the team. But when the pace got hot, Mead went to the back, hoping that he could latch on to the end of the train. That train never came. With some regret and optimism, Mead reflects on what happened at USAs. He knows he was fit, but the pieces unfortunately didn't come together on that day. He also looks forward to the 5k in Heusden, but also way down the line (2015). What does he have in store for the next U.S. Championship?
