Meb Keflezighi busted knee but still running to win at NYC Marathon 2013

Meb Keflezighi comes into the 2013 NYC Marathon not at the top of his game, but that won't scared him. Back in August Meb injured his soleus and was out for some time. When he started feeling near 100% (nearly 3 weeks ago) he took a fall on a run and busted open his knee. Meb's furthest running through the marathon training cycle this time around is 15 miles. Regardless of the hiccups, Meb says he is running to win. Meb comes in as the most experience on the course having run NYC seven times over his career, three of which have resulted in top 3 finishes (and a win in 2009). He is reminded of his fourth place finish at the London Olympics after far from perfect training, so he knows anything can happen.
