Kendall Sheffield: High School's Best Track And Football Star

One of the country's top track and football athletes is Kendall Sheffield. A five-star football recruit, Sheffield is also the nation's fastest returning hurdler from last spring in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles. He will be competing this weekend at the Texas State Meet in Austin, TX with his Fort Bend Marshall (Houston) team, who finished runner-up in the team standings for the past two seasons. In only his third race of the 2015 season, Sheffield ran a US #2 13.55 in the 100 meter hurdles at his regional meet. Sheffield will be going for the state record of 13.34, a mark that has stood for 35 years. Because of an injury, Sheffield will not be competing in the 300 meter hurdles.
