Nick Symmonds is back at the meet that kick-started his career

Nick Symmonds will run the mile tonight at the 2015 Music City Distance Carnival (presented by Run Gum), his first time back at the Nashville meet since 2006. Back then, Nick had won several NCAA D3 titles, but his 800 PB was 1:48, which failed to impress many meet directors. Running at the 2006 MCDC, Symmonds broke the D3 record with a 1:47.3, which got him into USA's where he would end up 2nd. The rest is history, as Symmonds went on to win 5 U.S 800m titles from 2008-2012, make two Olympic teams, and ultimately win the silver medal at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow. Watch Nick run the mile tonight at 10:00pm CT, where he'll be going for his first outdoor sub-4.
