Boys Foot Locker South XC Regional - John Tatter, Michael Phillips Battle
John Tatter of North Carolina and Michael Phillips of Florida battled to a sub-15 minute clocking at the Foot Locker South Regional, with Tatter's 14:55 win the second-fastest ever on the new McAlpine course behind only Drew Hunter's 2015 course record of 14:26. The third through seventh-place finishers were separated by one second, as were the eighth through tenth place finishers for perhaps the closest regional of the weekend. Full qualifiers listed below.
