34-year-old Lopez Lomong can still close with the best 5k runners in the country. Lomong ran a 1:55 final 800m-- with a 54.45 last lap-- to win the Sunset 5k in 13:25 over Hassan Mead, Woody Kincaid and Grant Fisher.
