John Raneri came in second in the 2008 cross country State Open as a junior, and has been on a tear ever since. He won the New England Outdoor Track title for the 3200 in 9:09, in addition to running a 15:08 5k at Nike Outdoor Nationals for 4th place. He came into this cross country season running strong, winning State Class, State Open, and New England Championships, before qualifying for Footlocker Nationals. This winter he has run 4:17 for the full mile and 9:16 for the 3200. John will be attending the University of North Carolina this fall.
