7th grader Grace Ping runs 18:12 5K, draws inspiration from Shalane Flanagan

Watch 12-year-old Grace Ping react after winning the high school girl's gold race at the Roy Griak Invitational. Ping beat out a stacked field of high school talent in a winning time of 18:12, which is just 10 seconds slower than her track 5K personal best and age group world record of 18:02. Ping owns a total of six world records for her age group.
