FloTrack Continues To Want You
This is your semi-annual reminder that FloTrack welcomes outside contributors, and pays U.S. dollars for their work. We don't want your take unless it's unfathomably hot--we have enough opinions here. What we do want is your original reporting, personal essays, and best of all, video, photos, audio, or documents. We also always need people to go to events that we can't get to, and pay for announcing, interviews, and video recording/editing/uploading.

If you have a good idea, email me explaining in one or two paragraphs why FloTrack should pay you to do it. If you think another FloTrack staffer is better suited to work with you on your idea, by all means, email that person. A good initial test of your ability will be figuring out their email addresses.

Here are some examples of strong freelance work on the site in the last year:

-Running in the Dark: A Division I Runner's Struggle With Depression (personal essay)
-Watch: Feyisa Lilesa Goes To Washington To Criticize Ethiopian Government (video, audio, and reporting)
-Marathons, Deviation And Glory: A Statistical Look At Trials Performance (statistical analysis)

And that doesn't include the countless contributors who went to events we couldn't get to. It could be you!
