The 2023 NCAA Track and Field Championships entered a weather delay on Day 2 of the meet as thunderstorms entered the Central Texas area.

Weather forecasts in the Austin area, where the meet is taking place on the campus of the University of Texas, included thunderstorms and possible hail.

The women’s division semifinal and final is set to start today. Delays were announced with lightning warnings as close as 8 miles to Michael A. Myers Stadium
