PR Of The Week presented by TrackSmith: Drew Hunter's 10K Debut
The Tinman Elite man took down the first section field at The TEN, logging his first professional 10K in style: With the win.
Drew Hunter made the step up to 10,000 meters on March 16 at The TEN.
He certainly left an impression.
Making his debut at the distance in the second section of the heats, the Tinman Elite professional, 26, pulled away late to score a time of 27:38.87, logging a top 25 performance in the world.
What could we see from Hunter over the next few months?
With the Olympic standard set at 27 minutes flat, that could be the mark the Virginia native is shooting for as the season progresses.
He's our Week 2 PR of the Week. Check back each week for a new PR of the Week presented by TrackSmith.
