The 2024 adidas Track Nationals will bring hundreds of student-athletes to Greensboro, North Carolina, from June 14-16. Here’s how to follow the action.
School may be out for the summer, but that won’t stop many of the nation’s top middle and high school track and field athletes from converging on the Marcus T. Johnson Track on the campus of North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, North Carolina, for the 2024 edition of the Adidas Outdoor Nationals.
The event will take place June 14-16 and test the young athletes in an expansive variety of events across multiple divisions.

Just like the world’s top-tier events, including the Olympics, there is a set of standards athletes must have reached during the season to be eligible to compete in the national event. The list of standards can be found HERE.
Competition at the 2024 adidas Outdoor Nationals is scheduled to begin June 14 at 9 a.m. Eastern with a variety of events for each division.
The final event of the year will be the boys decathlon 1,500-meter run at approximately 2 p.m. EDT on June 16.

About The Marcus T. Johnson Track
The Marcus T. Johnson Track opened in 2005 as the Irwin Belk Track but was renamed in 2021 in honor of Johnson.
The facility is home to the North Carolina A&T University men’s and women’s track and field programs and has hosted a variety of top-tier collegiate and national events.
Johnson Track has been recognized as a top-notch facility and is known to have a fast track surface.
