The high school junior has taken the world by storm over the last year, making a name for himself in many events, including the 2024 Penn Relays and, more notably, the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Before fans witness more history from Wilson, here are some quick things to note before the gold medalist and his school hit the track.
How To Watch Penn Relays 2025
Quincy Wilson And His School Are Coming Back For Vengeance
- During the 2024 Penn Relays, Bullis had a great run in the qualifiers of the 4x400 Championship of America, following Wilson largely, earning 44.37 and 44.69 splits.
- The 44.37 is now the fastest split by a high schooler in the history of the 400-meter race.
- However, in the final, Bullis would finish third after a fall in the third leg of the handoff, but that is where we saw Wilson almost come back and win the race.
- Every school member from last year will be back to, hopefully, take the wheel in the 2025 Penn Relays.
Wait!! Could Quincy Wilson Be Telling Us Something?
- All the success Quincy Wilson has enjoyed over the last two years makes you forget that Wilson has a big decision to make.
- That would be where he wants to continue his career by deciding whether to go pro or to college.
- Wilson has gone on multiple college visits, including in Florida, where he posted photos on Instagram wearing the blue and orange uniform with the caption, "Go Gators?"
Quincy Wilson Is Heading Into The Penn Relays With Momentum
- Wilson has to be coming into the Penn Relays feeling good, as he had impressive runs in his recent performances.
- Although the 17-year-old finished fifth in the World Indoor Championships, it is still amazing that he nearly medaled against some of the best competition in the world.
- On March 15, Wilson won the New Balance Nationals indoor 400m title with a 45.71 second time, breaking the record and giving Bullis School the high school record.
