Diamond League Qualifications Standards
- Athletes from 32 different disciplines will compete for points at the 14 series meetings to qualify for the league final, which will be held at Weltklasse Zurich on August 27-28.
- Whenever there is a tie, the athlete with the best legal performance of the season gets the higher rank.
- Then, athletes who qualify via the road to the final compete to be crowned the Diamond League champion.
- The throw and horizontal jump events are used in a new "Final 3" format in all the series meetings but not the final.
