Diamond League begins its season on April 26, kicking off four months of world class track and field competition across 15 locations and 32 disciplines.

In 2025, Diamond League begins in the same location as 2024, Xiamen, China, but the Diamond League Finals will rotate from Brussels last season, to Zurich. 

The 2025 Wanda Diamond League will also benefit from being a non-Olympic competition year, so where last year's competition rolled into September after a hiatus in late July and August, the 2025 edition will end on August 27-28. FloTrack will broadcast every Diamond League event with the exception of Eugene. 

Key events this season include meets in Paris, London, Rome, and of course, the grand finale in Zurich. Each Diamond League takes place on a single day, with the exception of the DL final.

Diamond League Prize Money In 2025

The 2025 Wanda Diamond League series will distribute a record $9.24 million in total prize money, with $500,000 allocated to each of the regular season meets, including an increased payout for select Diamond+ Disciplines at each meeting.

For the season opener in Xiamen, the Diamond+ Disciplines will be 5000m Women, High Jump Women, 110m Hurdles Men, and Pole Vault Men.
