After months of preparing and training, the 2025 Penn Relays are finally here with the 129th annual edition of the event at Franklin Field, housing different competitors across various levels.

The high school athletes can battle the other best schools in the world while sharing the track and field with future legends.

Multiple records have been broken over the course of relays, including at the high school level. For example, the Bullis Girls broke the 4x400 national record, along with Quincy Wilson and the Bullis Boys, who broke the record for the 4x400 heat.

Across the three days, expect some high-end action from all levels, especially with

many heat races like sprints, hurdles, and middle-distance events.

What Is The Penn Relays?

• The Penn Relays has grown into a three-day track and field event comprising various relay races, such as 4x100, 4x200, 4x400 and 4x800, along with all of the other fan-favorite track and field competitions.
• Many heat, hurdle and long-distance races round out the track portion of the event.
• Field events include shot put, discus, javelin, long jump, high jump, triple jump and pole vault.
• All winning teams are rewarded with a Penn Relays Wheel.
