Known as one of, if not the, fastest woman in the world, Shericka Jackson finished second in the Women's 200m, with Anavia Battle just beating her out at the Xiamen Diamond League on April 26.

This was Jackson's 200m return after not competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics and battling multiple injuries.

Jackson was likely the favorite to win the race, with her being the biggest name in the field, but Battle, who is also an Olympian in her own right, put everyone on notice with a time of 22.41.

Jackson settled for a 22.79 time, but fans should expect the five-time Olympic and eight-time world championship medalists to only get better as the season goes on, which starts on May 3 in Shanghai, China.
