Jessica Hull will race the 1000m at the Wanda Diamond League Meet in Monaco, as announced by meet organizers this morning.

Last year, Hull set the 2000m World Record at the Monaco meeting. She ran 5:19.70 to obliterate the previous mark of 5:21.56, which stood since 2021.
The Herculis EBS meeting in Monaco is slated for July 11. US Audiences will be able to watch the Monaco Diamond League meeting LIVE on FloTrack.
Hull certainly has a wide range of speeds and distances under her belt. She hold Australian National Records in the 1500m (3:50.83), indoor mile (4:19.03), outdoor Mile (4:15.34), indoor 3000m (8:24.39), and of course that aforementioned 2000m.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, she scored a silver medal in the 1500m with a 3:54.98 effort.
Her personal best over 1000m came in 2024 at the University of Washington Invitational in Seattle. She finished second to Nikki Hiltz but ran 2:34.71.
The Monaco meeting record is Faith Kipyegon's 2:29.15 from 2021, and it could be in danger if Hull is in peak form.
