The world's top track and field athletes are heading to Bislett Stadium in early June for the Diamond League Oslo 2025. The event is a crucial stop on their journey towards the season finale in Zurich, Switzerland as they compete for valuable points.

Norway will host 13 disciplines, with seven for men and six for women. This follow's last week's competition in Rome, Italy, and precedes the upcoming Diamond League Stockholm 2025.

The 2025 Diamond League season began in China with events on April 26 and May 3, followed by competitions in Qatar in mid-May and Morocco towards the end of the month.

About The Diamond League

The invitation-only Diamond League brings together the most elite track & field athletes to showcase their skills, earn prize money, collect points toward the season-ending championship event and ultimately elevate the status of athletics across the globe. 

Traditionally, Diamond League competition includes a slate of 16 disciplines, though not every meet features all of them. 

Points accumulated during the first 14 events of the season determine the athletes who advance to the final event, where they compete for more prize money and Diamond League titles.

The 2025 season marks FloTrack’s first year as the streaming home of the Diamond League for audiences in the United States and its territories (with the exception of any events being held in the United States).

Diamond League Prize Money In 2025

In 2025, the Wanda Diamond League will distribute a record $9.24 million in prize money, with $500,000 allocated to each of the regular-season meets, including an increased payout for select Diamond+ Disciplines at each event.
