Doris Lemngole Sets NCAA Record In 3000M Steeplechase NCAA Title Win
Alabama's Doris Lemngole claims the world lead, sets NCAA record in 3000M steeplechase at the 2025 NCAA Track and Field Championships.

Doris Lemngole shattered the NCAA Championship meet record by 17 seconds and the NCAA Record by 10 seconds, running a 8:58.15 in Eugene on June 14 at Hayward Field. She became the 14th female runner ever to run under nine minutes in the steeplechase. Lemngole, just a sophomore at Alabama, now holds the world lead with her time.
