Trayvon Bromell is back. He will race at the 2025 Pre Classic at Hayward Field on July 5th 

The 6th fastest man of all time will be racing. He earned that title in 2021 when he ran a personal best of 9.76.

After battling numerious injuries over the years, Trayvon Bromell has made a fierce return in 2025. Bromell has raced the 100m twice this season, opening with a 9.91 and then dropping a 9.84 at the Rome Diamond League.

He’ll be lining up against Olympic silver medalist Kishane Thompson, whose personal best is 9.77. Thompson opened up his season in May (earlier than usual) and ran 9.99 to take second behind Akani Simbine at the Diamond League meet in Shaoxing/Keqiao.

Also joining the 100m lineup is Zharnel Hughes, the fastest British sprinter in history with a personal best of 9.83. He’s competed twice this season, running 9.87 in Miami and 10.05 in Philadelphia, both at Grand Slam Track slams.
