London Diamond League Live Updates (All Times ET)
10:55 AM ET
U20 #2 All-Time for 18-year-old Phanuel Kipkosgei Koech.
The 18-year-old takes down Josh Kerr in the Men's 1500m, running 3:28.82, a new Meeting Record. With a lap to go, George Mills, Josh Kerr and Koech starts to move. Mills goes down at 200m, impeding the rest of the field, leading to a dual in the final stretch, with the youngster outlasting Kerr.
10:41 AM ET - World Leader
Julien Alfred delivers a Personal Best in the Women's 200m at 21.71, into a headwind.
Alfred, the Olympic Gold Medalist in the 100m and Silver in the 200m, sets the Meet Record in a hard-closing long sprint. Hometown Dina Asher-Smith takes second in a Season's Best 22.25, after running the 4x100m earlier in the meet.
10:29 AM ET
What a 100m Race!
Olbique Seville upsets a loaded 100m field, that included Olympic Champ Noah Lyles, and undefeated Akani Simbine. Seville runs 9.86 to win, the only athlete under 10 seconds in the race. Seville was the last athlete to beat Lyles, and repeats that instance with Lyles in second at 10.00. He had run the Jamaican 4x100m earlier in the day.
10:19 AM ET - World #2 All-Time
Gudaf Tsegay leads wire-to-wire to run one of the fastest Miles of All-Time.
Tsegay blows past the pacer in the opening 200m, to make the race her own. She split 2:03.52 to open her race, then came home to a 4:11.68 Meet Record and World Lead.
Jessica Hull made contact with 800m to go, but was never able to pass the new Ethiopian National Record Holder. Hull runs a new Oceanic Record in 4:13.68, taking second.
10:10 AM ET
New Zealander Olivia McTaggart gets her first Diamond League win, in tough Pole Vaulting conditions.
Four athletes cleared 4.73, but it was McTaggart who had the cleanest sheet in the wet conditions, that proved difficult in the Vault. For McTaggart, it was a Personal Best effort to win.
10:05 AM ET
Great Britain goes 1-2 in the Men's 400m Final.
Charlie Dobson sets a new Personal Best, pulling away in the closing meters to run 44.14. This is his second Diamond League win, beating countryman Matthew Hudson-Smith, who ran 44.27.
9:55 AM ET - World Lead
Georgia Hunter-Bell gets it done on her home soil in the Women's 800m.
Hunter-Bell finds that extra gear in the last 50m, blowing past a crowded field to win across the line 1:56.74. The 1500m specialist finds success dropping down, as does Addison Wiley, who recently set the 1000m American Record. Wiley takes second in 1:57.43, setting a Season's Best.
9:43 AM ET
The Women's 5000m comes down to a final lap kick.
Medina Eisa, the reigning World Junior Champion, wins with a big final 50m, running 14:30.57. Eisa had to maintain the inside lane down the homestretch, just pushing past fellow Ethopian Fantaye Belayneh at 14:30.90. In third, Australian Rose Davies sets a nine-second Oceanic Record, with her 14:31.45.
9:20 AM ET - Meeting Record
What a battle in the Men's 800m!
Emmanuel Wanyonyi takes the 800m in the final meters of the race, passing on the inside lane after Marco Arop surged to the lead with 200m to go. Wanyonyi runs a Meeting Record of 1:42.00, with Arop taking second in a Season's Best 1:42.22. That follows the same finishing order at the last Olympics, where the pair went first and second.
9:07 AM ET
World Leader Femke Bol defends her rank over the 400 Meter Hurdles, going 52.10 in the rain to increase her lead in the Diamond League Rankings.
American Jasmine Jones gave Bol the most challenge, even with the Bronze Medalist through 300m, as Jones continues to a Season Best in 53.18.
8:55 AM ET - Diamond League Record
In the final throw of the first round of the Discus, Mykolas Alekna rips a huge throw of 71.70m, surpassing the previous Diamond League Record set in 2022 at 71.27m. That record was held by Kristjan Ceh, who is currently in second in this field, at 68.37m.
8:47 AM ET
The Men's and Women's 4x100m put together strong performances. The Jamaican squad for the Men included Oblique Seville and Kishane Thompson, fresh off his 9.75 Season Best, where they put together a 37.80 mark. The Great Britain women throw together a World Lead in a very quick 41.69, just off their National Record of 41.55.
8:24 AM ET
Through the first round of the Long Jump, Wayne Pinnock of Jamaica has a single centimeter lead over the Diamond League leader Miltiadis Tentoglou of Greece, 8.20m to 8.19m. Over in the Discus circle, we have two of the three leaders in the Diamond League going head-to-head. However, they're currently chasing World Record Holder Mykolas Alekna, who opened with a throw of 66.97m in his League debut for 2025.
7:55 AM ET - And we're off in London!
We're here at the London Olympic Stadium, kicking off with the Men's Long Jump, with the Men's Discus warming up in the circle. The rain is falling in London, which should add some complexity to the event.
