Winfred Yavi, after winning the 1 mile steeplechase at 4:40.13.

"It felt really good today, I´m happy with the win. I was able to keep pushing. I hoped to run faster, I was aiming for a better chrono. It´s an unusual distance, normally it´s 3000m, and I ran faster than I normally do. It felt harder than the 3000m, I had to change my jumps as I was running faster towards the steeple. Right now I´m returning home to train and work on my jumps. This year I worked really hard with my coach on improving my skills and I will keep on training hard to be at my best in Tokyo. I hope to get a medal there, it won´t be easy but I´ll do whatever it takes." - Winfred Tavi

3:13 PM ET - 1500 Meter Run (Men)

Niels Laros leads a hard-charging finish for 3:30.59, a season best! This race was all about the second-half closing pace, sparked after an unfortunate fall in traffic by Abel Kipsang. Second was Phanuel Kipkosgei Koech at 3:31.41, third Yared Nuguse at 3:31.51.

Points standings top three through seven total events: Reynold Cheruiyot No. 1 at 23 points, Yared Nuguse 21, and Timothy Cheruiyot 21.

2:51 PM ET - 5000 Meter Run (Women)

Jebet Agnes Ngetich earns the victory, clocking 14:24.99 well ahead of the field. Likina Amebaw finished second at 14:31.51, and Aleshign Baweke third at 14:31.88. Josette Andrews was fourth with a 14:33.16 and Marta Garcia ran a national record for Spain at 14:33.16.

2:45 PM ET - 100 Meter Dash (Women)

Melissa Jefferson-Wooden is on fire; the current world leader left the field behind with a 10.76 (-0.2), gapping the field in the short sprint. Sha'Carri Richardson was second 11.08, Daryll Neita third at 11.15. Jefferson-Wooden holds the world lead with a 10.65 from August 1st.

Qualification points standings through a full eight meets for the 100m dash: Julien Alfred 31 points, Marie Josée Ta Lou-Smith 25, Maia McCoy 25, Melissa Jefferson-Wooden 24, Dina Asher-Smith 18, Tia Clayton 17, Jacious Sears 17.

Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, after winning the 100m dash at 10.76.

"This was my first time running in Brussels. I´m always looking forward to running in new places and to discover new things. And the people here are very welcoming, I felt so much love. I was happy to come out here and compete the way I wanted it to be. Right now I´m going back home to the States to get some good trainings in and clean up the small things. I know that I´m in great shape and that it´s all about putting together the perfect race at the perfecte time, when it matters the most, and that is at the World Championships in Tokyo. So now all the small meetings are done and it´s time to go back home and work on the biggest one of the season. The plan is definitely to go out there and take gold. I feel like I put myself in a really good spot to be a contender for that and now it´s time to have trust. I´m so grateful for everyone in my circle that helped and pushed me to get here. This year I have put in a lot of work and that is what makes me confident, I know what I´m capable of. This is probably the first season that I have zero doubts because I know that I worked hard." - Melissa Jefferson-Wooden

2:29 PM ET - 3000 Meter Steeplechase (Men)

What a run by Ruben Querinjean! A massive personal best of 8:09.47 and a national record for Luxembourg. It was a flurry of moves over the final laps for the lead. Getnet Wale finished second at 8:09.62. Isaac Updike opened up the race by jumping out front for a bit before falling back to third at 8:10.59, which is also a personal best and U.S. No. 9 all-time!

Isaac Updike, after third in the 3K Steeplechase.

"3000m steeple is never easy and today was hard. I knew they were aiming for 8:05 so my tactic was to just keep following; I was aiming for 8.08 today, so I ran just a bit slower but I knew if I kept following I would be close to 8:10. I feel that there´s still room for improvement during the race. I got a bit locked in a certain moment so there are still some things that could be better. I guess I might be in the final of the Diamond League, so that means I will have to change my plane ticket. So that´s new and exciting. For now I´m staying in Belgium where I will continue my training in Leuven. They have a great facility over there so that´s a good thing. I love Belgium and we´re based in Leuven a lot, I train at the Bakala Academy which is really great. I´m looking forward to Zürich and hopefully I can run a new PB there." - Isaac Updike

Through five meets for this event, the points leaders are as follows: Serem Edmund 24 points; Soufiane El Bakkali 23; Samuel Firewu, Simon Kiprop Koech 12; Getnet Wale 11; Ryuji Miura 10; Mohamed Amin Jhinaoui 9; Abraham Kibiwot 9; Abrham Sime 8; and Ruben Querinjean 8; all qualifying for the Diamond League final.

"This is really exceptional. In the last metres I felt that it was possible to take the win, but I never thought that this time would be possible. I have the confidence in my sprint at the end of a race, but to do it here tonight is something else. A time around 8.12 was the goal, but this is really unbelievable. And now I'm going the World Championships!" - Ruben Querinjean

2:22 PM ET - 200 Meter Dash (Men)

Alexander Ogando earns the win with a 20.16, Robert Gregory second at 20.19, Udodi Chudi Onwuzurike third at 20.29. Christian Coleman finished fourth, running 20.42.

Through seven meets for the 200m, Joseph Fahnbulleh is the points leader with 29 total, Letsile Tebogo second at 23, Courtney Lindsey third with 22, Alexander Ogando 19, Robert Gregory 17, Reynier Mena 16, and Kyree King 15.

"This was not good. I didn´t execute the race how it was supposed to be, that´s it. Hoewever, I enjoyed my first race in Brussels. The stadium was crazy." - Robert Gregory

2:19 PM ET - Javelin Throw (Men)

World leader Julian Weber earns another victory, this time with a mark of 89.65 on his fourth throw of the series. Keshorn Walcott was second with a season best 86.30, Anderson Peters third at 85.17.

Keshorn leads the final points standings after four meets at 24 total, Weber second at 23, Peters 19, Neeraj Chopra 15, Julius Yego 15, and Andrian Mardare 10.

2:11 PM ET - 1500 Meter Run (Women)

Nikki Hiltz gets the late win on a hard charge down the final straight! A season best 3:55.94 for Hiltz, and Linden Hall had to settle for second, clocking her own season best of 3:56.33. Third was Nelly Chepchirchir 3:57.35.

Sarah Healy leads the final points standings through seven meets at 23, Nelly Chepchirchir ranks second with 22, Nikki Hiltz moves to third in points with 17 total after the win.

Nikki Hiltz, after winning the 1500m run at 3:55.94.

"It was a good and fun race today. I didn´t know there was that big of a gap. I was just racing with the athletes around me and I knew it would be an exciting last lap as I came closer and closer to the front of the race. I am very happy that I could take the win and with how I adapted on everything that was going on in the race. It is a small season´s best so that means I´m peaking just around the right time. I am still deciding if I am going to Zurich. I will have to look on my training and see what makes most sense. It would be a good opportunity to race the world´s best athlets just before the World Championships. But I ask myself the question: Do I want to be race sharp or maybe get in a couple more workouts?" - Nikki Hiltz

2:04 PM ET - 400 Meter Hurdles (Women)

Anna Cockrell leads early and closes for the win with little pressure at 53.66. Second was Gianna Woodruff, clocking a season best 53.89, third was Naomi Van den Broeck at 54.12 for a Belgian national record.

Through eight meets, the final points standings showcase Femke Bol up top with 40 points, Andrenette Knight second with 30, Gianna Woodruff 25, Ayomide Folorunso 25, Emma Zapletalová 23, Dalilah Muhammad 22, and Amalie Iuel 16.

Anna Cockrell, after winning the 400m hurdles at 53.66.

"This felt pretty good. It´s a win and felt like a pretty solid run. I trained really hard this season and tried to put things together and find small improvements. It´s about finding a good race plan and executing everything as good as possible. My next goal is the Diamond League final in Zurich, I hope to be even faster there, there´s a couple things I have to tweak so I hope it will work out in that final. I loved running here it felt very good!" - Anna Cockrell

1:34 PM ET - Pole Vault (Women)

Katie Moon earns a hard fought exciting win against Molly Caudery in the vault. Moon and Caudery went bar for bar through 4.80m, then Moon was the lone vaulter to clean 4.85m on her final attempt at the height, a season best. Caudery was second with that 4.80m clearance and Hanna Moll third at 4.74m.

Moon leads the final points standings ahead of the championship meet at 38 total, Sandi Morris second with 29 total, Angelica Moser 27, Tina Sutej 27, Emily Grove 24, Roberta Bruni 24.

12:50 PM ET - Discus (Men)

Ralford Mullings closed out the discus throw victory with a 69.66m mark on his final attempt. He first took over the lead on his fourth attempt with a 69.41m throw, which also would have been enough to earn the win. Mykolas Alekna was second at 68.82, his opening mark in the series, and third was Kristjan Ceh at 67.13.

With this event closed out, after four meets, Kristjan Ceh is the final points leader with 27 total. Daniel Ståhl finishes second at 24, Matthew Denny 18, Mykolas Alekna 15, Henrik Janseen 15, and Lawrence Okoye closes the top six in points with 11.

12:36 PM ET - Shot Put (Women)

Diamond League points leader Chase Jackson wins with a mark of 20.90m on her third attempt. Just .05 off of her own world lead and a meet record, taking down Valerie Adams' 20.59 from 2014! Final attempts still to come. Sarah Mitton was second with a mark of 19.89m on her third attempt, Jessica Schilder was third at 19.58m off her final throw.

With the shot put points battle wrapped up, Jackson is atop the board with 38 points, Jessica Schilder second at 33, Sarah Milton third at 29, Fanny Roos fifth at 17, Maggie Ewen fifth at 15, and Jaida Ross sixth with 11.

"I threw a Meeting Record here, that felt very good. I was pretty consistent and hope to stay that way. I hurt my finger before the US nationals and it keeps bugging me. So I got to figure out what to do these next few weeks, especially for Tokyo. I hope I don´t have to let it rest but I still have to get it checked. For Zurich, I hope that I can win the final and be consistent. Maybe some shots over 21m, we´ll see. It was a good meeting, sometimes a bit crowdy with the pole vault next to it but everyone was so sweet. The crowd was amazing and they really cheered for each and everyone of us so that felt amazing." - Chase Jackson

12:29 PM ET - High Jump (Men)

Oleh Doroschchuk earned the win on attempts. Only two remained in competition through 2.25m: Doroschchuk, who cleared on his first attempt, and Thomas Carmoy, who had two misses at the height before clearing on the third attempt. Now through six meets, the final points standings are led by Hamish Kerr at 34 total, Romaine Beckford 28, JuVaughn Harrison 23, Oleh Doroshchuk 21, Shelby McEwen 18, and Woo Sanghyeok 16.
