The BMW Berlin-Marathon is set to start on Sunday, Sept. 21. With over 80,000 participants over the span of the different races, there are about 40 runners that are dubbed with the title of Elite Men and Elite Women.

With so many athletes competing and so many divisions of events to follow, there is a way to track your favorite athlete to know exactly where they are and what their live results will be. 

The BMW Berlin-Marathon website has several options to track athletes in this race. The athletes have the choice of having their results be private, public or by code for the duration of the marathon. If tracking an athlete in real time is not the chosen method for you, athletes’ results can be tracked post event on the BMW Berlin-Marathon website or the app. 

How To Track Runners At BMW Berlin-Marathon 2025

Please note all information in this section is provided by the BMW Berlin-Marathon website. The language used is from the standpoint of the athlete competing. 

Private: You do not want to be tracked. If you select this option, your name will not be shown in the search in the tracking area of the event website or the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2024-App and will only be published in the results list together with your ranking in the race.

Public: Everyone can follow your race via the live results on the event website or in the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON App.

Code: You decide who can follow your race via the live results on the event website or in the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON App. Share your tracking code with your supporters. This code will be requested when searching in the tracking area of the app or on the website.

The 51st running over the BMW Berlin-Marathon will be broadcasted across multiple platforms.
