What Is A Fleet Feet Golden Ticket For The Brooks XC Championship?
Golden Tickets are a fresh component that present athletes with a unique opportunity to compete at the Brooks XC Championship presented by Fleet Feet.

With the inception of the Brooks XC Championship presented by Fleet Feet, Brooks and Fleet Feet stepped up to carry a 45-year legacy of high school championship running into a new era. The format, which features four regional qualifiers, also introduced "Golden Tickets" which would automatically qualify select athletes for the Brooks XC Championship presented by Fleet Feet on December 13.
In total, there are ten Golden Tickets for the fastest High School Girls and ten for the fastest High School Boys. 50 girls and 50 boys will compete at the inaugural Brooks XC Championship in 2025.
These tickets are "Invite Only" tickets which provide athletes with automatic starting spots at the championship in San Diego. Athletes who receive Golden Tickets are hand-selected by meet organizers.
The other 40 girls and 40 boys will be selected via the four regional qualifiers: the South, Northeast, Midwest and West Championships. The South, Northeast and Midwest region championships are scheduled for November 29, while the West Championship is scheduled for December 6.
