From elites to casuals, tens of thousands of runners will take to the streets of the Big Apple for the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 2. 

Runners from around the world will descend on New York City for one of the most famous runs around the world's most famous city.

The action begins at 8:00 ET with the men's professional wheelchair division. The professional women's open division will follow at 8:35am ET, followed by the professional men's open division at 9:05am ET and eventually the amateur fields at 9:10 AM ET.

How To Track NYC Marathon Runners

In order to track the runners in real-time, download the New York Road Runners app, which is available via Apple and Google Play.

You can also access the live results via browser. The browser will also allow you to search participants and track specific runners.

  • 8:00 AM - Men's Wheelchair Start
  • 8:02 AM - Women's Wheelchair Start
  • 8:22 AM - Marathon Pushrim and Handcycle Start
  • 8:35 AM - Elite Women Start
  • 9:05 AM - Elite Men Start
  • 9:10 AM - Wave 1 Start
  • 9:45 AM - Wave 2 Start

How To Watch The NYC Marathon In The United States?

National coverage of the 2025 NYC Marathon will be available on ESPN 2 starting at 8 AM ET. The broadcast will also be available live in Spanish on ESPN3. ABC may show the coverage on local listings.

When Is The 2025 TCS New York City Marathon?

The race begins at 8:00am ET with the men's professional wheelchair division. The professional women's open division will follow at 8:35am ET, followed by the professional men's open division at 9:05am ET.
