Diadora has announced 2x NCAA All-American Simeon Birnbaum as the latest athlete to sign an NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deal with the brand, being just the second collegiate athlete to do so.

Birnbaum recently set a new personal best and University of Oregon program record of 7:39.65 in the 3000m Run, just a little over two weeks after taking All-American honors at the NCAA Division I Cross-Country Championships.

Across several other events, he also holds bests of 1:49.27 (800m), 2:22.84 (1000m), 3:37.02 (1500m), 3:52.81 (Mile), and a 13:31.87 (5000m) which he set en route to a Big Ten Outdoor Championship title in 2025.

"I chose to partner with Diadora because I believe they want to win as badly as I do," said Birnbaum in a provided statement. He has been described as, "one of the most exciting athletes of his generation, defined by his immense talent, fearless racing, and signature style."

From Enrico Moretti Polegato, the Chairman of Diadora, “Bringing Simeon Birnbaum into the Diadora family reinforces our commitment to building something meaningful in the U.S. running community. We see exceptional potential in Simeon, and we’re committed to supporting him every step of the way as he pursues the highest level of the sport. Together, we want to show what’s possible when an athlete and a brand truly believe in each other.”

Birnbaum joins Marco Langon of Villanova as the two athletes who have signed NIL deals with Diadora.
