The women’s entry list for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational mirrors the national depth expected at one of the final major indoor meets before March’s NCAA Championships.

Sprint events feature entries from Boston University, Harvard, Princeton, St. John’s, Columbia, Texas, Maryland and UC Santa Barbara in the 60 meters, 200 meters and 400 meters. The hurdles field includes athletes from Delaware, St. John’s, Colgate and UC Santa Barbara, contributing to a competitive short sprint group.

Middle-distance events again stand out. The 800 meters includes entries from BYU, Oregon, Michigan, Indiana, Princeton, Providence and Boston University. The mile field spans programs such as BYU, Florida, Georgetown, Duke, Harvard and Princeton, with additional representation from Columbia and Army West Point. The 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters feature athletes from Oregon, BYU, Alabama, Notre Dame, Florida State, Texas A&M and Michigan State, highlighting national participation across the distance events.

Relay competition includes Harvard, UC Santa Barbara, Boston University, Princeton and Cornell in the 4x400-meter relay. The distance medley relay includes SMU, Texas and Connecticut.

In the field events, Army West Point appears prominently in the throws, while St. John’s, Bryant, Connecticut and Boston University are represented in the jumps and pole vault. The high jump field includes entries from Coast Guard, Colgate and Dartmouth.

Across sprints, distance races and field events, the women’s entry list reflects a broad cross-section of Division I, Ivy League and regional programs preparing for the postseason push.

David Hemery Valentine Invitational Women’s Schedule

The David Hemery Valentine Invitational women’s competition is set for Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, with doors opening at 7:30 a.m. Field events begin at 10:30 a.m., featuring the long jump followed by triple jump and pole vault, with high jump and throws at 3 p.m.

Running events start at 9 a.m., and Session 1 may run up to 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The Elite Window begins at 3:45 p.m., with an estimated finish of 9:30 p.m.
