The men's entries at the David Hemery Valentine Invite at Boston University's Track and Tennis Center is loaded. Here's what to know

With one of the final major indoor meets before the NCAA Championships in March, the men’s entry list for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational reflects the scope and depth expected at Boston University starting on Feb. 13.
The sprint events feature deep fields across the 60 meters, 200 meters and 400 meters, with athletes from programs including Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Oregon, Alabama, Michigan, Texas Tech, BYU and Army West Point. The hurdles field also includes entries from Buffalo, Princeton, Colorado and Boston University, adding strength to the short sprint events.

The middle-distance and distance races are especially loaded. The 800 meters includes competitors from Oregon, Michigan, Duke, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Virginia and Boston University, among others. The mile field spans collegiate and unattached entries, with representation from Oregon, Virginia, BYU, Penn State, Harvard and multiple Ivy League programs. The 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters bring together athletes from Oregon, Villanova, Alabama, Texas A&M, Princeton, Syracuse and Georgetown, highlighting the national reach of the meet.
Relays also show competitive depth, with Harvard, Dartmouth, SUNY Geneseo, Boston University and Columbia entered in the 4x400-meter relay. The distance medley relay includes Boston College and Davidson.
In the field events, Army West Point appears prominently in the throws, while Bryant, Connecticut and Fordham are represented in the jumps. The pole vault and high jump fields include entries from Bryant, Buffalo, Colgate and Boston University.
The overall men’s entry list demonstrates a blend of Power Five programs, Ivy League teams and regional schools, reinforcing the Valentine Invitational’s role as a key February test across every discipline.

The David Hemery Valentine Invitational men’s competition takes place Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, with doors opening at 7:30 a.m. Field events start at 10:30 a.m., including the long jump followed by triple jump and pole vault, with high jump and throws at 3 p.m.
Running events begin at 9 a.m., and Session 1 may run up to 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The Elite Window opens at 3:30 p.m., and the meet is estimated to conclude at 9:15 p.m.
