David Hemery Valentine Invitational Schedule: Here's When To Watch

The David Hemery Valentine Invitational returns to Boston as NCAA indoor contenders compete Feb. 13–14 ahead of Nationals.

A month remains until the NCAA Track and Field National Championships begin on March 13, and one of the last big meets of the college indoor season takes place in Boston as the Boston University Track & Tennis Center hosts the David Hemery Valentine Invitational.

The meet runs Feb. 13 with men’s events and Feb. 14 with women’s events. Athletes from across the country will compete at BU, which just hosted another major indoor meet at the end of January, the John Thomas Terrier Classic.

The meet kicks off at 9 a.m. ET on Feb. 13 with the men’s distance medley relay.

The David Hemery Valentine Invitational will include the FloTrack Night in America beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET when the Elite Window starts. The Elite Window on both days will include:

  • 800M Invite (5 heats)
  • Mile Invite (5 heats)
  • 3K Invite
  • 5K Invite

David Hemery Valentine Invitational Men’s Schedule

The David Hemery Valentine Invitational men’s competition takes place Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, with doors opening at 7:30 a.m. Field events start at 10:30 a.m., including the long jump followed by triple jump and pole vault, with high jump and throws at 3 p.m.

Running events begin at 9 a.m., and Session 1 may run up to 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The Elite Window opens at 3:30 p.m., and the meet is estimated to conclude at 9:15 p.m.

The David Hemery Valentine Invitational women’s competition is set for Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, with doors opening at 7:30 a.m. Field events begin at 10:30 a.m., featuring the long jump followed by triple jump and pole vault, with high jump and throws at 3 p.m.

Running events start at 9 a.m., and Session 1 may run up to 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The Elite Window begins at 3:45 p.m., with an estimated finish of 9:30 p.m.
