A number of high profile meets like the BU Valentine Invitational had drastic impacts on the FloTack College Indoor Track and Field Rankings presented by Saucony. Today, FloTrack released its second Team Ranking Index.

Illinois continues to lead the women's rankings, but on the men's side, Arkansas jumped into the top spot after a busy weekend at their own Tyson Invitational.

These team rankings are completely objective and score using the TFRRS Qualifying Lists. They include performance conversions and assign points based on where athletes and teams rank in an event. For example, a team may have an athlete leading the 200m and 400m. That team would score 20 points as the result of championship scoring. B or C Team Relays are not included in the scoring.

BYU made big stride on the women's side, gaining 15 points week-over-week. Of course, a large part of numbers of those points come from Riley Chamberlain and Jane Hedengren who ran the first and third fastest miles in NCAA History at the BU Valentine Invite. They ran 4:20.61 and 4:22.22, respectively.

They were split by Wilma Nielsen who posted a 4:21.04. She helped the Oregon Ducks climb from seventh in the rankings to fourth. Oregon also ran a Distance Medley Relay at the Crimson Classic on Friday Night. That team is currently third on the performance lists.

On the men's side, Arkansas saw big jumps into scoring positions, largely thanks to the Tyson Invitational.

Jelani Watkins ran the third fastest 60m (6.52) and the third fastest 200m (20.43) on the 2025-26 season. Tevijon Williams added points in the 200m with his 20.56, good for seventh on the TFRRS performance list.

Then, Devyn Wright had a solid showing in the 400m with his 45.38, Tyrice Taylor slipped onto the collegiate boards with his 1:46.11 800m, and Ernest Cheruiyot dropped a 13:17 5K at the Husky Classic up in Seattle. The Razorbacks recieved a flurry of points in the 60mH between Jerome Campbell's 7.48, Vashaun Vascianna's 7.53 and Abdoul Sy-Savane's 7.55.
