Day 1 of the 2026 NCAA DI Indoor Track and Field Championships crowned several champions, including NAU for the first time in the men’s DMR.

Now the question is: Who will join them as 2026 indoor champions?

The final day of the NCAA DI Indoor Track and Field Championships begins at noon ET with the continuation and completion of the heptathlon. Oregon junior Peyton Bair had the second-most points ever on Day 1 in the event with 3,675 as he chases Kyle Garland’s 2023 record of 6,639. The remaining events are the 60m hurdles, pole vault and 1000m run.

At 5:10 p.m. ET, the track action heats up with the men’s and women’s mile runs, with the meet closing with the 4x400m relay at 7:55 p.m. ET.
