Brooks has announced that it has signed Clayton Young ahead of the 2026 road running season.

Young had a stellar 2025 season, that featured a seventh place finish at the Boston Marathon in 2:07:04 and a ninth place finish at the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo. In 2024, he finished ninth at the Paris Olympic Games in the marathon.

Brooks has built out a stellar elite roster of American Marathoners. Currently its roster features CJ Albertson, Casey Clinger, Zach Panning, Colin Bennie and Turner Wiley on the men's side. Jess McClain, Susanna Sullivan, Erika Kemp, Amanda Vestri and Aliphine Tuliamuk are on the women's roster.

Young will work closely with the Brooks' footwear development team and provide elite insights in the spirit of innovation.
