Meet officials have announced that Jimmy Gressier will run the 5,000m at the Paris Diamond League Meeting on June 28, 2026 - in front of his home-crowd.

In 2025, Jimmy Gressier won the World Outdoor Championship over 10,000m as he out-kicked Yomif Kejelcha for the World Title. Back in 2024, at the Paris Olympics in the Stade Charlety, Gressier finished 12th in the 10,000m.

Now, Gressier will race at Charlety Stadium yet again, and US Audiences can watch him and the rest of the Paris Diamond League Meeting LIVE on FloTrack.

Gressier has a personal best of 12:51.59 over the track 5,000m. He set that mark at the 2025 Paris Diamond League meeting that saw him finish fourth behind Yomif Kejelcha (ETH), Birhanu Balew (BRN) and and Graham Blanks (USA). That was a French National Record for Gressier.

He also holds National Records over the Indoor 5K (12:54.92), Road 5K (12:51) and 10,000m (26:58.57).

Grant Fisher is also currently listed in the 5,000m field for the Paris Diamond League meeting.
