Orlando Bennett enters the meet with momentum of his own. The 2025 World Championships silver medalist has already posted a season’s best of 13.33 and will be looking to continue building consistency early in the year. When Bennett is clean technically, he has proven he can challenge anyone in the world.
Meanwhile, Muratake arrives with the fastest season’s best in the field at 13.05. The Japanese star continues to establish himself as one of the premier hurdlers on the global stage and could be poised for another breakthrough performance in Shanghai.
Britt is also a serious contender after opening the season strongly. The American owns both the second-fastest season’s best and personal best in the field at 13.07, showcasing the kind of form that could make him a major factor not only in Shanghai, but throughout the championship season.
With multiple athletes already running near personal-best form and Tinch making his highly anticipated return to the hurdles, the Shanghai Diamond League could deliver one of the fastest men’s 110m hurdle races of the season so far.
