Some of the world's top sprinters are converging on Xiamen this Saturday for the second Diamond League meeting of the year.

At the Diamond League season opener in Shanghai last weekend, Shericka Jackson (JAM) comfortably took down an elite slate of sprinters over 200m.

Jackson clocked 22.07 in her first 200m of 2026, followed by Shaunae Miller-Uibo (BAH) in 22.26 and Anavia Battle (USA), who crossed in 20.40.

Sha'Carri Richardson (USA) and Amy Hunt (GBR) finished fourth and fifth right behind Battle, as the pair earned SBs of 22.42 and 22.48.

Jackson is among the fastest women in the world so far this season, sitting No. 5 just on the verge of sub-22.

In Xiamen, those five will be joined by Mckenzie Long (USA), Jenna Prandini (USA), Torrie Lewis (AUS), and Yujie Chen (CHN).

While she isn't planning on being in China this weekend, Saint Lucia's Julien Alfred currently owns the top spot in the world this year, with her 21.86 from her alma mater's most recent home meet, the Texas Invitational.
