Diamond League Rabat starts on Sunday, May 31, marking the third event in the season as athletes inch closer to the Diamond League final in September.

Xiamen Diamond League on May 23 saw a historic sprint performance from current 100m women’s hurdle leader Masai Russell, who ran a 12.14 to become the second-fastest woman in history.

The attention now turns to Morocco, where major storylines are forming. Alison Dos Santos, who won the 300m in Shanghai and the 400m in Xiamen, won’t be racing at Rabat, opening the door for other competitors.

Rabat brings multiple Diamond League debuts. Olympian Quincy Hall will make his Diamond League season debut. Yaroslava Mahuchikh will also make her first competitive appearance of the year.

Here are five things to know ahead of a loaded slate at Diamond League Rabat 2026.
